I'm gonna get hate for this, but I'm going to go with Tuvok. I appreciate his well roundedness between duty and family (I base this mostly on relaunch books). I think he was the truest to the logical vulcan lifestyle, was loyal, a sense of duty, and never had bias against non vulcans. Several times in voyager, he used the principles of surak (who should be our favorite vulcan) to help others with their problems without putting down the emotional make up of other races. It was moving when he spoke of missing his wife and children but he did this without losing control. Of all the men kirk knew, Spock was the most human. Exactly, he was a good man, but not a great vulcan. Also, shouldn't this be a poll or would it matter since obviously spock would win with t'pol in a distant second?

Agreed! I say Tuvok too, but with Spock with a very very close second.

I like Tuvoc the best. He seam to be the vulcan character with most depth. He also have interesting relationships with the most people (Nelix, Janeway, Paris, etc). This might be unfair to Spock since he was presented in another decade and fewer episodes.
...But when I think about it Spock and T'Pol is not far behind Tuvoc. I like Vulcans!

1. Spock/nuSpock - The original tortured soul. Followed by a two-way split between: Tuvok - Depth, family man and Sarek - 2 human wives? He broke the rules and did it his way. Just wish his harshness didn't screw his son up so bad.

It is curious how often you humans manage to obtain that which you do not want. - Spock

If we're talking in terms of general all-around awesome, SPOCK*(DUUUUUH).

But on the Hottie-meter: T'pol.

*BTW, I mean BOTH Spocks. Nimoy was good, but the franchise NEEDS Quinto and Pine and Zoe if it's gonna 'live long and prosper' for the NEXT 45 years. Plus, Abrams made us Trekkies part of the 'in crowd' and I for one think we OWE him for that.

Spock kicks ass. Both T'Pol and Sarek were good as well. Tuvok had his moments... but I could never get that into most of VOY. It was fine... but a bit repetitive.
But Spock is the man... frak, I'll probably never meet Mr Leonard Nimoy. Dammmmmmmmit!

I'm afraid we're not really 'in'. Adults may not have a probz with people liking Star Trek, but the teenagers of the 21stCent. continue to stereotype people who appreciate Star Trek as 'nerds' and continue to dub the show itself as 'nerdy'.

Leonard Nimoy's Spock is my favorite Vulcan, with Tuvok in second and Sarek in third.

Spock is the best. Every other Vulcan character owes their performance to Mr. Nimoy who defined the Vulcan people.

Are you sure it isn't time for a colorful metaphor?

Besides Spock it would have to be Sarek.  Mark Lenard was great.
