I try to follow the Golden Rule: Treat others as you would want them to treat you. I really do try to treat others in a nice way. That's why I usually won't reply right away to a post, unless it's a basic reply. I've learned that early on, way back in '98 and '99, when I first got online. I've had some pretty neat discussions because of my rule, but I've also had to deal with some pretty nasty individuals at times, too. Anyhoo, I hope I at least answered some of your question(s). At least concerning my POV and take on this ^_^

I totally agree with you there. It's simply a lack of respect for each other. it seems like some people are only here to find things they can disagree with. don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with posting your opinion about something but when it gets to where they want to do it everytime someone says something it gets a little ridiculous. And if you notice, almost every thread thats been created, there's always someone who wants to be nasty to someone else and makes it apparent that their opinion is the only one that matters or that they are right and you are wrong. and then if you address it they want to have an attitude or make up excuses saying they are only debating facts when really they are just being nasty and want to start trouble.

Are you looking to start trouble ?
