Even so, a certain pair who have had multiple accounts banned here and are actually known to be troublemakers - one who was banned on sight - seem to be allowed to continue to post here with impunity no matter how many times their multiple duals are pointed out to admin by multiple people.
You have to wonder at the double standards that appear to be prevalent here. One wonders if these bannings of one person returning while allowing others to post are more personal than anything else . . .? |
I'm aware of the history thanks lol and when admin catches up to those two they will have nothing to complain about either.

who says she had anything to do with it at all? I doubt admin are doing anything on the word of any poster. But if you look at the report system dual accounts is one of the reportable offenses. the admin would then presumably investigate.

that has to be one of the most garbled sentences I have ever seen lol have no idea what you are actually saying. but you seem concerned that people are being falsely accused. some of us have known each other for the better half of a decade. We know each other pretty well and don't have a lot of problem identifying each other. Also, it's a rather small community and word gets around. I have no doubt though that admin does nothing on the word of any member alone and all reports are investigated.
you also seem to have no concern about other members who are being accused. Intersting.

Just report the person. I've read through a lot of threads on these boards, and it's clear that three or four people think they can get away with bullying other members just cause they've been here longer. |

Nice work flushing one of the dual accounts there, admin.
And I apologise to the other members for blatantly naming one of those duals a a known troll on the open board.
However, you must understand the frustration when someone who has caused no trouble here - Brian Boru - gets nuked after only a few reports when a number of other dual accounts belonging to the same "member" who was deleted today have been reported for several months yet is still posting freely.

Thank you for replying Admin ^_^ I know your job isn't an easy one.
It does tend to get frustrating when a newbie gets attacked and accused of being someone they aren't and then banned while those doing the attacking, accusing and reporting are still here and posting. I realize that there is no fool-proof way, but if one watches how others post, then one can get a general feel as to who is a dual or who has been banned and comes back with a new account/nick.
Thanks for taking care of at least one of the true multiple/dual accounts. Too bad at least one true newbie had to pay the ultimate price though.
