Klingon blood was always red in all the movies and series except star trek 6. and in that movie it was pink.

They wanted to avoid an R rating is way they made it look like pepto.

i think that all the movies,series and episodes that were made after that movie shouldve had the klingon blood pink.

maybe the klingons genetically modified their blood to be more iron based or something. who knows. they had ridges. then no ridges. then ridges again. they had pink blood. then red blood. They should've stuck to pink blood.

Yes worf did it when alexanders mom died, when jadzia died and when gawron died

Yes worf did it when alexanders mom died, when jadzia died and when gawron died

they also did it in the Klingon RPG computer game they put out years ago.

If that is the case then it may have something to do with the augment retrovirus was created back during Enterprise.

The "avoid the R-rating" answer is teh correct one.

I always figured that the zero-g environment had an impact on the blood or something.

Again, not something to really be concerned with. It's one of 1,000 inconsistencies associated with Star Trek.

It was rated PG. Would changing the pink blood to red made it skip the PG13 rating and go straight to R?
