Anybody here ever played 3d chess or 4plyr chess? Is it possible to get a 3d chess set like the one on the show? I made a 4plyr. chess set but I don't have rules for 3d,

I have never played it, but there is a $30 Three Dimensional Chess set all over the internet. Unfortunately, it is not like the one on the show- the original is increasingly hard to find.

Edit: I actually did find an original TOS design 3D chess set here on Amazon, but it is almost $400.

As for rules, try out this link!

3D chessboard in progress.my cousin wants me to put it on his bridge as a permanent addition so thats probably where it'll end up,but thats cool.Any contribution I can make to such a worthy endeavor of the pursuit of a dream entails it's own reward. All I have to do now is learn how to play, but I love a challenge!

I have that chess set in my library. Still have the origional box and everything as well. Had no idea it was going to $400.

I have a 4 person board. It's got the squares of 2 boards intersected at the middle. It's a complete free for all. You have to think several more moves ahead and usually have to form alliances. I've also used a 3 person, 3 layered hexagonal board. I want one of those and the trek board. I hope someone will make an affordable one.

How do you move on a trek board anyways?

Haha, well, if you are ever short of cash or just want something for a rainy day. . . you have got the means of getting it.

yeah,I liked 4plyr.It was a lot of fun but it's hard to find players for that and I usually have to play 2d with the computer.I'd like to have a 3d program for the computer.maybe sometime in the future I can get my cousin to try to make that happen.
