Yes, I liked the first six seasons too.

I loved the running story arcs, and the realistic character development, and the cool space battles. I thought the whole thing was consistently better (after the first couple of seasons, anyway) than every other Star Trek series, and more realistic to boot.

The characters had more depth, and the plots were more intertwined and less straight-forward.

Oh, and Ezri was cute.

Understood. Nicely summarized, sir - and I thank you.
After Worf came on though, I really got sick of the Klingons.
It wasn't my favorite series, but I still enjoyed it, myself.
