I don't remember that, but when I first joined ST.com there was an startrek.com, it was like hotmail.com, I think I had that for about 3 years or so then they just quit. No real warning, just one day tried to log in to my email and it wasn't there. That was back during the IRC, so it was a while ago/

Wow, that is awesome. XD So THAT'S how one of my friends got the Star Trek email address.... I've always wondered that.

Yes, Yes... I was one of the very first to have one of these email addresses. I was very sorry to see it just disappear. Seems like all great things are doomed. With all of the tech improvements today, you would think that someone at Star Trek Dot Com would pick up onthe idea once again. NOT ALL GOOD THINGS MUST COME TO AN END. The web-site has advanced much, so, why not?

I too want a startrek email... but could it be independent of the Startrek.com site? I have read articles and seen clips of ST.com and it seems like it is really going down hill, i am a new member, ard i really don't like what i see on this site. if it was not for the member posts of non affilitated people, i would teleport out of here before they get a lock on me

Yanks, there was a Star Trek email address back when. I had one. It was similar to hotmail.com and was pretty cool

But one day I went to go check my email and it was gone. No warning. Just...gone. I'm trying to remember but I think it was back in either 1998 or 1999 when I had it. It would be neat to have it again, though! I'd sign up for it!!

Got that, Yanks just tossing out what I had found online. Knew it wasn't what you were asking for, but it was the only thing I found so far.

Of course will TPTB listen to us fans and at least look into this is the huge question

I had a "Captain(my name)@ussenterprise.com address back in the day. The @startrek.com adress was free & others were $2.00/month. They had several (over half a dozen), including (as I recall) @klingon.com, @vulcan.com, and my favorite @hesdeadjim.com. I went with @ussenterprise.com and had someone thinking I was on the aircraft carrier. I had to explain to him that .com & .gov were different.
