Maybe 5-10 years ago, you could apply for, and be granted an email address with the startrek.com domain address. It was fantastic, unique and says more about who you are than anything else.

Was discontinued some time ago, but I would lobby hard to get it back. Maybe if enough of us post replies here, the web guys/paramount might let it happen again. If so, sign me up for the first address:

captain@startrek.com

I wonder why you feel this way BamBam.

It's just that everything here seems to be going downhill - no investments into the brand. Also, if they're going to have an e-mail system, that's expensive.
