When too many people start reaching fleet admiral, they coud get a few more ranks in by shifting:

Ensign => Crewman
LTjg => Petty Officer (third class)
Lieutenant => Petty Officer (second class)
LtCmdr => Petty Officer (first class)
Commander => Chief Petty Officer
Captain => Senior Chief Petty Officer
Commodore => Master Chief Petty Officer

Those are all real ranks, and I quite like the idea of being an enlisted man

After all, it won't be much fun when we're all stagnant at fleet admiral.

I'm Fleet Admiral on sb63's board, so ... meh. However, I might as well make some form of Admiral here, just to make my presence known. Many of the newbies don't know Shran ...Yet!

I have to agree with Roboto that this system is set up to encourage active audience participation. What fun is a message board when no one posts anything?

As for removing the report button? That is a bad idea. Yes, it can be misused but in the case that it is it is up to administration to catch that and take appropriate measures. If it is something that is not supposed to be here then it should be reported and removed and the person that posted it should be reprimanded.

The key to making this fun is that we all have to keep in the spirit of things and have fun and talk and enjoy the boards. Keep it clean and be respectful and we can all enjoy.

Ok I was confuzzled~~~

I am really new to st.com and I only have 220 post and 12 pictures uploaded and I am a LT. Commander.

Before I only had 2 pictures and like 1 post, and I was an ensign. And then I uploaded like 12 pictures and became a lt. commander. I was surprised, but in a good way.
