Let's put this into perspective: should I choose the side of a long time board member who posts meaningful things or someone who posts one letter/one emoticon long messages to bring up their rank?
WT Riker's motives have nothing to do with this, despite what he may say. He either lied about the one letter posts or posted them after saying that it was wrong (about Cpt_krk_wna-b's similiar posts.)

The answer is not as straight forward as you'd think. I've been a member here for ~ 10 years. I had about 35,000 posts, but during some "upgrade", my post count was wiped out and I had to start over (my account was still good.) It's probably been about 4 years or so since then.
