My military experience kind of colors my view of DS9. By the time I finished my time, I was an E-6 (Technical Sergeant, USAF). With troops of my own to guide and lead I looked to Sisko (Whom, in the Trek universe, I'd have been proud to serve under) and O'Brien (Star Trek's only named and developed NCO) as examples.
In combat? Worf. His sense of honor and his integrity was an inspiration.

Garak for me. I found his ability to survive to be really amazing.

A COMBINATION OF SISKO, GARAK, QUARK & ROM.
IF ONLY I COULD POOL AND USE THOSE ABILITIES.

Probably somewhere inbetween Sisko, Dax, and Worf

Definitely a combination of Sisko, Worf, Jadzia, and O'brien...

Like TOS, TNG, and DS9. Voyager and Enterprise weren't worth watching. Like all the movies except I, V, IX, and X.

If i could be "inspired" by a fictional character, it would have to be Garak.

He had so MANY character flaws, struggled with a humiliating position, and yet still made galaxy changing decisions and was one of the real heroes of the Dominion war. Great character.

Something about the idea of those four combining strikes me as kind of --uh--- ...scary?

Sisko and Kira.

As I watch the series on DVD (never watched the whole thing when it aired), she's quickly become one of my favorite Trek characters ever.

I have to O'Brien. as my number one character. I do like the relationship dynamics between Odo and Quark.

Sisko - overcoming heavy loss and moving forward in his path.  I also like his leadership style.
