Where did my thread go? You lot said Wednesday. But unless you have the excuse that your personal timezone is screwed as well you broke a promise saying it will stay up till Wednesday. So here is part 3.
My timezone is 4 hours out and everyone else I have spoken to is also out by at least an hour or 2. I know it's Beta but come on.

My time zone appeared to be fixed yesterday. I'm using this post as a test.
Edit: Yeah. Mine is fixed. Maybe that's because I complained about the specific time zone and they looked at just that one???
I like everybody, even the people I don't like. They make things interesting. ;)

Mine says 4:31 am when it is actually lunch time. How can you get timezones wrong when using GMT? But then can't see GMT listed so they probably put in the wrong code.

You know what? I stand corrected. My timezone didn't get fixed!! I changed it back to America/New York, but that change never went through. I just checked my profile and Europe/Athens is still selected. (**Rolls Eyes**)

I've tried going through a bunch of the choices, but I always seem to get the ones that are one hour behind or one hour ahead of my time. It's aggravating!
And I agree, Jad, they did say Weds. If I recall rightly yesterday was Monday NOT Wednesday. Yet again no communication from Admin/TPTB. It's really hard to try and read their minds and figure out what they are doing.
Admin, please a little communication would go a long ways to preventing these misunderstandings. OH! This is a good reason why a PM feature would be a great thing! Admin could let us know through PM the why and what of things..
If this post is reported, then I'd be curious to know why.
*Edited to add* I just checked, it seems that Dublin time is what gets me my correct time zone. Yet when I try Denver it gives me the PST :: shrugs ::

Maybe the boards are in a completely different dimensional timezone that only admin know the secret of.

That is an excellent question ^_^ All I can say is what I had been told to try, play around with the different zones and see if one eventually matches your time zone. I finally had to settle on European Dublin. It at least matches my zone.

Maybe we could get people who have found the right time zone to share what there actual timezone is and what theirs is set to so we can get a list for quick reference for others. I still haven't found the right time zone for mine

real time zone = ST time zone
GMT-5 = Africa / Nairobi, Europe / Helsinki
GMT-6 = Europe / Berlin

Real time zone = Mountain Standard Time (America-Denver/Phoenix)
Star Trek time zone that works with/for MST = Europe-Dublin
I've also seen that for Eastern Standard Time (American-New York, et al) Europe-Athens seems to match/work for EST

No matter what I do, I can never get the right time. Mine is two hours behind. I wish it was 7:37pm.
