did these pens ever go into production?  dont know if i had ever seen one.
its a transporter with sounds and the pen stands upright in a magnetic field,  this was made in the TNG time frame.    the company that made this used parts of acrylic tubing for the back part from this factory here in IA  so this was more of proto type that was sent back for them to inspect or see what they were making out of the tubing.  including a picture of it.   looking for info or any feedback on this,

Vegas???? I'm wondering if it was a "Star Trek: The Experience" product.  (Yea, I know it was only manufactured in Vegas, not necessarily where it was sold.)

I actually saw a TV ad for them recently. Was cleaning out some of my old VHS collection and found my tape of the Viewer's Choice marathon that aired right before the TNG finale. They had TV ads for comm badges (Generations design), the Star Trek Encyclopedia, and the Transporter Pen set. Not sure if the pens were available at retail, but the ads were call "Call this 1-800 number" ads.
