My ex was gone,
so I saw nothing wrong,
with chatting up a hotty,
who liked getting naughty.
But my ex had found,
She did not like my rebound.
Apparently this was not allowed,
Though her love for me was disavowed!
The new girl's gone,
For reasons not very strong.
Though we had fun, late at night,
She said it left her "empty" inside!
I tried to get more explaination,
for her emptiness is a fascination.
I cannot flag her down,
And there is nobody else around.
I am so god damn depressed ...
Reading all that I've just confessed.

THE END

Life can be a drag when your feeling sad
but then you get caught in the rain
and you feel no pain you lose your focus
and you begin to dream you see the one person you want most
but they look at you like your a ghost
Torment and torcher filter through your bones
then you realize you were speaking aloud
and you weren't alone...
I likd this one that i wrote one rainy day so I thought I'd post it!

Here's one of my better poems:
What did you see, a man who could have any woman he wanted what greatness do I hold that you wanted me without you I can't function I'm no more than an android I don't want to be anlone after loving you you are the only one for whom I have shown my soul disappointment anger but my realization that I was speaking to a dream frightens me your love so real I thought at first that it was an object such as a hand one which squeezes my heart now more than ever you know I would have stopped the Earth for you but now I wish I'd never met you and especially never walked along that famous beach with you what talent and pain I have now all because of you...
I just lik this one better than the other one and 2takes wat do you think of it?

...A Trek I took, a Trek to the stars, a Journey I made, leaping from this good Earth, past the sands of Mars; And to the unknown I took, moving at a speed, fueled by a quest to learn,a desire, unbounded, in my spirit, I felt the yearn, and sparked by a need, to know that which lay beyond the realms of land and sky, to a place where the night is not dark, no, indeed, lit by a billion suns, yes, billions and yet more....waiting, all waiting, for me to stand upon its shores; and there, lay the answers to the questions of my mind, wonders and beauty of a most special kind....and there you stood, your hand outstretched, imploring that I take  you with me upon my Journey, and together shall we make the universe as our playground, aborning stars as our guide, as we go into that great, Final Frontier, never our souls to divide...and when time itself has run its course, and we lay ourselves down to Rest, be it true, oh, so true, that there never be indeed an end to The Quest......

In answer to your question, saavik:
The 2nd was great - different, too - but
I enjoyed both of them. I hope that's OK!

I myself have been inspired
to craft another poem, because
of you, saavik! This one's boldly
entitled: LOCKS of LOVE

As they lay in bed one night,
Carol noticed something not right.
Was that hairspray? Was that gel?
There was no color. There was no smell.
A build-up on Kirk's hairline, she went to scratch.
DISCOVERY! Her breath, she went to catch.
It was the tape of his toupee.
What to do, now? What to say?
How could she not have known?
But now, his cover was blown.
Watching him as he sleeps ...
knowing he wears a piece ...
her imagination was going wild,
could she even be carrying his child?

I have my pet cat and he knows it

Whom bounce's around and know's it.

He's familiar with the sham, wriggle and glam.

He rolls around in delight, and in full light, tossing and turning, the eyes burning bright;

Wriggle and turn, purring and yawn; stretched out feet, about up and yearn.

Cat about, face about, cuddly and warm, the coat, a winter spawn. ...............

Is all that I can come up with now folks? Tee-hee! Sigh~

It's strange, being a catalyst for things that move outside.
