Are you 18, Elizabeth? If you are, maybe you should consider Iliana's or Serva's suggestion.

Perhaps your parents could call the hotel and see if special arrangements could be arranged somehow.

Jonathan Frakes has been added to the guest list. Also, the Gold weekend packages have sold out and the Captain's Chair weekend packages are now on sale. In addition, it's on the website yet, but it mentioned in creation's newsletter, Jeffrey Combs will be bringing his one man show "Nevermore" to the convention on a complimentary basis for all in attendance. It will be held on Saturday Night.

They also have dealer room guests, some can be a surprise, some go about every year.

It would be tough to get the Gold front row, being that many of those seats are sold on the last day of the con.

Closer is always better, though. It gets old to only see the quests on the screens, or tiny on stage.

Captain's Chair might be a good idea, especially if the Rio's room holds more seats.

Saturday sold out in 2010.

-------

I wonder if the RV parks accept under 21, but you would need an RV anyway.

-------

Is this site going to have some kind of meet at the convention?

-------

Anyone setting up to sell there?

-------

The convention did need a change, Star Trek 2011 should be fantastic!

Aw being a college student really limits the fun you can have. Silly Vegas being so far away and so expensive. Silly Washington for not having more Trek fans and conventions. So disappointing!

Jolan Tru, may your day be filled with peace.

Okay I am a serious Newbie at Cons... and I am very confused about the whole thing. I want/ and plan to go to 45 and I have the money to go.. what do you all recommend as far as these "packages" you keep mentioning? I am a huge fan of Nimoy and a photo Op is really all I am concerned about at this time.. (I'm embaressed to ask...) but what other events take place at conventions that I should be paying attention to? Should I be concerned about things selling out!? I don't want to miss a thing.. for this is my high school graduation gift... I want to make this the best trip ever.

Is Captians Chair the only package they offer..? Is there any smaller packages? Or can you just by admission tickets for certain days? Does the Autograph ticket mean I have an unlimited ammount of autographs for all the actors or do I have to purchase per person like the photo Op? Help I am so confused!!

The autograph and photo op tickets all have to be purchased for each actor/actress and you only get one autograph. As for the packages, the more expensive the package, the more that comes in the and better the deal.

So If you’re a big Spock fan I would say get the photo and autograph combination.

As for the events,  If you like Klingons  I would say do the Klingon Lunch, beyond that its all on what you like. If you haven’t seen it already, Here is web site to help out.

It would be helpful for a fan perspective on whether or not the "photo op" and autograph is worth the money.
