i would like to see more movies involving the other star trek series cast members like from deep space nine, voyager, and the enterprise series

I don't really care what a new series would be about. I just want a new series. I'm going through New Star Trek withdraws lol.

what 'bout after Abrams finishes with the movies...he "creates" the next series.....would have the big name draw to it at least ....

Yes off course they should be but maybe give iy a little more time and hopefully with good writters and actors they will be able to do original and inovative storytelling when a new series does ever start and hopefully the series might be original and innovative too who says all off it has to be on a Starship ye thats cool but some Acadamy and Starfleet and maybe some spacestation episodes would be cool too as well as some planet episodes mix it up lets see all the things they really have to do and none off this crawling back to the spacestation every week that was the worst thing about the next gen any bit off damage they would crawl back and get it repaired they should be able too do it unless its really bad .

there are a lot of people who would like to get out of this world once in a while, movies and series like star trek help them do that, yes there should be a new series, with movie making getting so high tech, star trek should have its presence felt in this era.

Its coming out in July 2012 so a while yet they have only just finished writeing the story . Hopefully it will be good .

To be honest, with the mediocre quality of television that I see every day, I am not all that hopeful when it comes to getting another great ST series. Sure, they could make another one... but I would be very much afraid to see what further damage to Star Trek they could create. Never mind all the cursing, innuendo, and outright sex that floods all of today's television.
