Screw this poll

After mankind has killed each other off without eternal hope by embracing a flawed godless theory and

struggles for only the here and now and living the surval of the fittest myth

God will sort it out

No, he won't, because he doesn't exist. However, you will leave this world believing that he will sort it all out and there is a plan that makes sense behind all the random and terrible things that happen in this world. You will leave the world with the satisfied belief you were right and all of the greatest minds of science were wrong, and that's fine. No harm done. Believe as you will.

The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few--or the one.

I'm as likely to encounter the christian god after I croak as I am Thor, Odin or Quetzacoatl.

The trouble is that most of these "theorys" that you refer to have absolutely no foundation in fact are essentially fairytails that have been passed down over the millenia from our bronze and stone age ancestors.

Only Darwin's theory has any basis in fact and is based on actual observation, scientific evidence, hard evidence (fossils) and it is testible.

The right way to say it is that all religion-based creation beliefs are unprovable and so equally invalid. Scientific theories are based on fact, observation, and evidence and so valid until proven otherwise.

The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few--or the one.

In reality,we know so little about the universe,it's hard to say either way.We know a great deal about life as it exists on earth. There is ample evidence of a lot of biological or evolutionary change on this planet.I believe GOD is out there but that doesn't mean evolution isn't one of his ideas.Had the dinosaurs not been wiped out we wouldn't be here, who's idea was that or was it only fate?I think we should worry more,on a daily basis, about where were going, and how to get there and consign worrying about where we came from to a time when we have the leisure to think about it or have a better understanding of the universe as a whole.

The simple fact is that comets/asteroids impact the planet all the time on a geological timescale- all you have to do is look at the moon to see proof of that, and that such impacts are an inevitability.

I just live by the idea that we're here and that's all that matters; we should focus on the future and making sure we have a better world to bring our descendants into, IMO.
