Why Do You Think In Voyager They Never Had No Mirror Universe?

Well, my first response, NCC170RS, would be, in a way..they did. Ever seen the episode '' Living Witness'' .... the Doctor finds himself in a far-future world, waking up, as it were, from a chaotic event that saw the ship under attack, while trying to negotiate trade with a group on this planet called  Kyria.... where he discovers that, not only are the friends, and shipmates he knew all gone...they are being portrayed in the planet's history as the polar oppposites-in behavior, 'mirror-like' selves of the good men and women he knew.It was, in truth, a matter of ''History being written by the victors' and the hero of the people so revered, actually had been a very bad man, and the Voyager crew caught up in a complex conflict-mess, which saw them being branded across the centuries as collaborators with this despot. At any rate, of course, in the end, the Doctor is able to exonnerate his fiends, and restore the legacy the crew truly deserved.Oh, and there have been a series of novels, or short stories, taking place in the MU-one or so of which involve Mirror Kes(YAY), Neelix, Chakotay, and Tuvok(all these being heroes)and Mirror Lanna(Mirror villain)They came out fairly recently, so, it shouldn't be hard to track them down, if interested.

If you've seen DS9, the Terran Empire doesn't exist anymore. Humans are slaves to the alliance of Bajoran's, Klingons and Cardassians. Therefore no Mirror Starfleet, no Mirror Voyager.

No Maquis either.  Of course, the writers probably just didn't think of it.  You should propose the idea to IDW.

They had some of the Voyager crew in the Mirror universe. In the novel Spectre, Kathryn Janeway was there but she was not a captain.

James T. Kirk

Kirk reluctantly reactivated his Starfleet commission at the rank of captain, by order of Alynna Nechayev.

Jean-Luc Picard

Intendant Spock

Intendant Spock is the leader of the resistance movement.

William T. Riker

Kathryn Janeway (mirror)

Counterpart of USS Voyager's Kathryn Janeway. In the mirror universe she is a rebel against the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance and an enemy of Emperor Tiberius.

T'Val (mirror)

Resistance fighter, the daughter of the mirror Spock.

Spock

Spock's Starfleet rank was also reinstated.

McCoy

Admiral of Starfleet Medical.

Montgomery Scott

Tom Paris (mirror)

Commander Paris was the commander of the mirror universe Voyager.

Tiberius I (mirror Kirk)

Former emperor.

Sloane

Lieutenant Commander Sloane was a descendant of Lily Sloane. He was chief of security, USS Enterprise-E until 2375.

Gul Rutal

Morgan Bateson

Alynna Nechayev (mirror)

Admiral in command of USS Sovereign.

It was neat seeing both Tasha and Kath in there. I hated that the former didn't make it therein. One death is enough, in one universe. Eh, I have her alive(Main U Tasha) again in my fanfic, anyway. Do you have ''Preserver'', BOS? It's a must, IMO, if one has ''Spectre''....

I think “ST:V” spent a lot of time bringing the Maquis and Starfleet crew together as one, and that thread lasted for such a long period of time, that the producers wanted to stay with a unified crew. Even though a Mirror ST:V crew would not have affected our crew, I suspect the producers felt doing so would have diminished the feel-good vibe they tried so hard to cultivate.

To Brotherof Shran, and your query re Tiberius.... Well, he was as ruthless as one would expect, wasn't he....but, in true ST fashion, they gave him a complete turnaround by the end of ''Preserver'', which was great. I played around a bit in fanfic a good while back, peeking into the MU with he and Mirror Spock, and his beginnings of change of heart. I think in the Shatnerverse MU, Tiberius is going to have a long way to go to repairing his 'image'....still alive, thanks to hibernation tech, and the two quadrants, full of people with long, bitter memories, of his atrocities, and aggressions...it would make for interesting reading, I would think, should Bill and the Reeves-Stevenses decide to pick him up again.Tiberius could become a hero, now, for humanity, a freedom-fighter, and use his 'powers for good' (LOL) against the Alliance. It would be interesting to read that Mirror U. story with Kes,who is from what I saw still a good and decent person in the MU, but, I don't know if i'll ever get around to spending the cash on that particular book.I have worked on a MU story involving Chakotay, Kim, Paris,Tom's father, and Lanna(In my tale a heroine, not a villain)

Kes's screaming broke all the mirrors.

If you can read this it means I've got something to work on here.

NAH. It was, actually,' caused' in the episode in which that DQ species created their own Doctor-Tenor 2.0, and said holocreation hit that BIG HIGH NOTE ....I could consult my Voyager Companion to clarify the ep, but, I'n sure another STV fan will be able to clarify that, anyway...
