I think the Prometheus or the Enterprise-E are supposed to be the most-powerful ships.

Voyager when it added the Borg plating and Transphasic torpedoes was pretty powerful. Species 8472 and the creature that has Tan Elbrum live with it seem pretty powerful to.

Good point, Kdbtrekkin. And, in Kirsten Beyer's series about "Project Full Circle," Starfleet equips Voyager with quantum slipstream drive! I guess that would make Voyager about the most-powerful ship in Starfleet!

(I always liked the style of the Intrepid-class's exterior, although I thought their lounge was too small.)
