It's not about the money, although your willingness to blow off $800,000 is telling, it's the blame issue. Again. Three years in. Even though someone in BHO's own administration had to approve that number. If a GWB staffer blew that money I'd still be pissed.

Blowing a half a billion dollars  is criminal. No matter the party. Yet another huge failure no one seems to give a shit about. If I overspend my budget by $100 I get shit from my boss. But the government blows over a half a billion dollars and it's a bad idea? Understatement of the year.

I'm firmly out of the Gingrich camp, I did not even know he said anything about it. 

Two things.

First? Why is the media even asking the President about it. People die by the hundereds, of all races, colors and creeds, yet this one is the one some asshat reporter asks the Leader of the Free World about. It's a local law enforcement issue ONLY. "no Comment' is all BHO should have said. 

Mentioning Martin at all and comparing him as what his son would look like is putting the Office of President firmly in support of the idea that Martin was murdered instead of killed in self defense, something NO ONE has proven or disproven at this point. 

When 'wanted dead or alive" posters and bounties being called for Zimmerman are not getting people arrested it implies that the Justice Department is fine with a bounty being issued and death threats called for, purely because this is being spun as a hate crime. Sadly the media is only fueling this because it makes them money. If it bleeds it leads. 

The President should not be identifying with ANYONE in this case. Unless you think that all black people are victims and all white-hispanics are racist murderers. 

Second

Innocent until PROVEN guilty is off the table in this case. Zimmerman couldn't get a fair trial if you held it on the Moon.

With all due respect, as a member of the millions of people who lost a perfectly good job because the country went into the toilet, I beg to differ.

That tired old' drive into the ditch' line is lame and loaded with Grade A bullshit. 

GWB never met a spending bill he did not like. He failed on that end. But the Democrats have had control of the Congress from 2007 to 2010, and still have the Senate. Yet it's been over a thousand days since they have passed a budget. Unemployment is still above 8% and if you are under 30 it's closer to 20%. 

Obamacare, Cap and Trade, Clean Energy have all cost billions or will cost trillions more than they project and the net gain is nothing. We lose on every front, yet this President wants us to double down on stupid and re-elect him. If he had done HALF of what he should have I might at least concede the point, yet he has not even closed Gitmo. and his Presidency is a transparent as mud. 

I don't want a 'community organizer' runnning a trillion dollar operation. Look at how far we are so far. Is the economy better? Only if you are in the government sector. Us private sector folks have to tighten our belts and leave our skin in the game. 

My house is worth less, my paycheck is worth less and gasoline is now $4 a gallon, as is my home heating oil. I can't afford this president. Or his policies. 

We know you hate the rich people DJ, but corrupt? Offer proof or STFU.  I function fine with my hatred for BHO's policies. I could give a rats ass what color he is. Why do you?

Clinton didn't inherit a recession when he became President, and I'm serious, I was proud of America when Obama became President, but we still have a long way to go. 

It certainly is the blame issue...as in lets find something...anything...we can blame on Obama. Given the size of the federal budget, $800,000 is a drop in the bucket. Like it or not, mid-level folks have that kind of discretion unless or until their higher ups veto their actions. I doubt that this indiviual item came to Obama's attention until after the fact. So the real issue is what is Obama going to do about it...and was it really a "party" or was some other legitimate function invovled?

Yes, $800,000 sounds a bit steep to put on a proper conference, but one wonders what the cost would have been had a private corporation sponsored such an event.
