You must be Michelle Obama to believe all that.

Number of people in the work force continues to go down (according to BLS)...  Real inflation continues to rise...  More people on entitlement programs... Federal debt continues to rise... Massive new regulations... Even more taxation...  Attacking the Constitution....   Yea... so much to be proud of.

To some degree, and in some parts, absolutely.  At least some knew to lower taxes, which increased revenues.  Of the last 5, one believed in the Constitution (although not always followed it.)  And one was able to cut some entitlement spending in one area...

And for those of us that study history, we can go back even further.

Don't you just love Obama's deep cuts due to sequestration....  well.... as long as the cuts that don't involve him having fun on the taxpayer's dollars...

Couldn't have said it bettery myself. The public sector continues to grow, while the private sector shrinks and more and more people leave the workforce altogether.

Interesting that you bring that up, as I was listening to a discussion with Wayne Allen Root regarding the similarity between Bush Jr. and Obama as compared to Herbert Hoover and FDR. How Hoover spent recklessly, violating his supposed conservative principles, and FDR just did the same. We really need to learn from history.

Oh... I know the Obamas are smart - they know exactly what they're doing.  You either are blinded, or just won't admit the truth.  That's why I shared the numbers and will continue to show them - people need to see that the Obamas are doing exactly the opposite of the Constitution and liberty. To be reasonable, you must have the facts.  And as John Adams explained, "Facts are stubborn things."

Patience???  Remember that Obama is determined to "transform" the USA away from the Constitution.  I have as much patience for that as I do for the (same goals of) Hitler, Mao, Stalin and any other tyrannical person who has made it their goal to enslave others.

Isn't it interesting that you demand that we respect the current president yet you disrepect a previous one?  See... there's a huge difference between respecting a person and the office.  And while I can respect the capabilities of my enemies, that doesn't mean I won't stop fighting them.

Yep - everyone keeps forgetting that Senator Obama complained about things Bush would do and then President Obama not only does the same thing, but much worse!  Bush ran up the debt, but Obama has done a lot more.  Bush pushed the PATRIOT Act... and Obama not only expanded it, but then added the NDAA.  We could go on and on... ProRegressives are in both parties and they have been taking us down the road of anti-Constitutional government for years.  The Bush's, Obama, etc. are from the same group of people with the same agenda.  It's just that some are more hard core than others.

In fiscal 2010, according to numbers published by the Census Bureau and the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), net spending by all levels of government in the United States was $5,942,988,401,000. That equaled $50,074 for each one of the 118,682,000 households in the country.

In that same year, according to the Census Bureau, the median household income was $49,445.

That means total net government spending per household ($50,074) exceeded median household income (49,445) by $629.

And the ProRegressives think this is okay???
