Our "Dictator-in-Chief" was at it again recently.... Boehner offered a "compromise" by saying, "I put $800 billion [in tax revenue] on the table. What do I get for that?"  In Obama's typical arrogance, he responded with, "You get nothing, I get that for free."

I wonder if the person that released their notes will be getting a visit from the IRS??....

Remember how Obama and Reid and Pelosi and... well pretty much most of our politicians.... talked about how Social Security is okay and doesn't have any problems?

Well... the Social Security program posted a $47.8 billion deficit for FY2012....  Oh, and according to BLS, for every 1.67 Americans who worked full-time in the private sector in 2011, there is now 1 person collecting benefits from the Social Security administration.

yea... that's sustainable..... 

Hmmmm... now Lisa Jackson is stepping down as the Chief Admin of EPA.  Wonder if that had anything to do with her getting caught using fake secondary e-mail accounts to get around the FOIA.

Remember when Obama demanded raising the debt limit a few months ago?  Guess what?!!?!?!... he's already spent it all  (Geithner sent a letter to Congress yesterday saying, "I am writing to inform you that the statutory debt limit will be reached on December 31, 2012, and to notify you that the Treasury Department will shortly begin taking certain extraordinary measures authorized by law to temporarily postpone the date that the United States would otherwise default on its legal obligations."

But Obama is right about one thing.... that type of debt is "unpatriotic."  (For those that don't remember..... Obama said that.)

Every time I see this thread I seem to want to read it as "The President Obama depreciation thread". 

I seem to remember Obama criticizing Bush for legislating - Congress' job - through executive orders. 

Here's another quote from Obama: "One of the main incentives of running was continued Secret Service protection so we can have men with guns around at all times."

Now... aside from the point that it was supposed to be a joke.... notice that it's okay for him to have guns around all the time, but he doesn't want the rest of us to?

There's not any real difference between most republicans and democrats - both have the same agenda.

An accurate representation of the last election was "Obamney".

Well.. exactly as expected.... the ProRegressives in Congress, in an effort to "avert" the fiscal cliff have chosen to shove us over the cliff...  They raised taxes and chose not to address the spending addiction.

And of course, they still haven't addressed the debt....

Got this in an e-mail that makes this debt ceiling issue easy to understand:

Let's say you come home from work and find there has been a sewer backup in your neighborhood.... and your home has sewage all the way up to your ceilings.

What do you think you should do?....  Raise the ceilings or fix the sewer and remove the [stuff] from your home?

Neither, tear down the house and build a new one. Or move.

I'm sure we're not allowed to think outside the box though.

Don't you just love Obamanomics???  According to the monthly Treasury Statement, they gave away $80.4 BILLION just in food stamps in FY2012....

How many more people will Obama put on food stamps?
