Personal Log, Stardate 238709.23, Ensign Solor recording.
I can't go on like this. It's been days, and I haven't had anything like a good night's sleep. He's there, every time I close my eyes, and I can't even see his face. All I can see is a blade, wickedly sharp, and then I hear the rush of air, howling out of the room like a deranged animal. Doctor Elou says that I'm close to making a full recovery, but I'm not so sure.
Tanjar-Ongra was understanding when he came to visit. I've never been as glad of a cup of Plomeek soup, let me tell you. He thinks I should tell someone, maybe Nurse Tel-ar, but I don't want them to label me as some kind of insane lunatic. I want to be useful.
If my great grandmother could see me now, she would be ashamed. All of my life, I've written off Vulcan traditions, choosing to show the side of me that's governed by 7/8 of my genetics. I now find myself regretting turning my back on Kolinahr. Who ever heard of a Vulcan who's afraid of the dark?

Personal Log, Stardate 238710.01, Chief Petty Officer Will Felton recording.
I already need a vacation. With the transfer from the starbase to my new ship, and with Jamie still hyper over the Andorian project he did in school, I'm pretty sure that moving to Risa wouldn't hurt right now. He spent a clear hour this afternoon going on about making "Andorian Beefburgers". Last time I made those I had to tamper with the replicator files to add an edible blue pigment to the bread in the burger. I just hope I can fix it up as easily this time. One day he's going to find out that Andorians don't even eat beefburgers...
The new ship is pretty nice. Sickbay was damaged during the battle to retake Deep Space 17, but I'm sure the Engineering teams will have it back to normal as soon as possible, or better than back to normal if we're lucky. Then all I have to do is learn where everything is and Bob's your uncle. Actually Gerald's my uncle, but I've never been one to stand in the way of tradition.
I have a feeling that we'll be departing the starbase soon, and then it's off into the great unknown. That's part of the fun of being a noncom, you don't always get to find out what's happening until you're right in the thick of things. I just hope they won't be needing my services too soon.

Unum’s personal log, Stardate 238709.30:
I’ve waited for this opportunity for quite a while now. Talon and I have been separated for months, and we now have the opportunity for some alone time away from a starship. Planet T8A looked like the perfect spot for a weekend getaway. It’s secluded, and a it’s virtual paradise. The first night on T8A, also known as Planeta Del Amor, was romantic and peaceful. The next morning, we awoke to the sound of the waterfall at Kassa’s Pool nearby, and then we walked toward our spacecraft several meters away for supplies. When arrived at the landing spot, we found that the craft had been partially devoured. Devoured was the appropriate word because the metal had been stripped from the craft, and hardly anything was left of it. When we returned to our campsite, we found it ransacked. We’re on the run now, with no supplies, and no idea what awaits us until help arrives.

Unum’s Personal Log, Stardate 238710.12
It’s been just over two days since we left the USS Ronin. At least that’s how long I think it’s been because it’s dark in the tunnels we were dropped into. The light source we’ve found may only be a temporary tool. We haven’t seen or heard from the creature that brought us here, and we still have no way of contacting the Ronin. Talon and I have survived on the milk and meat from the inside of a coconut-like food source we located. I hope we find a way out soon because I get the feeling that we’re being watched by the creature that brought us here or another person who may be living in these tunnels and rooms based on some of the items we’ve found.

Commander Toni Turner, Personal Log, Stardate 238710.12 It has been several days since 1st Lieutenant Unum and Talon Lee were due back to the USS Ronin. Fearing that they are in trouble, I have recalled the crew from shore leave, and left DS17 to go search for them, using Unum's flight plan to a planet simply known as T8A.
