Jean-Luc: "Perhaps we shouldn't be afraid to explore these feelings."
(Beverly lightly kisses Jean-Luc on the cheek)
Beverly: "Or perhaps we should be afraid."
Jean-Luc: Will you have dinner with me tonight?
Beverly: In Ten-Forward?
Jean-Luc: How about my quarters? More intimate.
Beverly: Jean-Luc you are full of surprises today.
Jean-Luc: I take that to be a "yes."

Tell you the truth: of all the wierdest relationships the Jean Luc/Beverly relationship was just plain wierd. At season 7 they came to a point when they both loved each other. But they decided to remain friends... How stupid is that? It's like going for olives instead of chocolate for eating something sweet.

Scoobydog : I liked the idea of Jean Luc and Beverly. Though it was intense and at the same time subtle.

PContinuum : Bevery and Picard should have gotten married on the series and then start fighting to create drama. lol

ZeroArmour : I like the idea very much, and I'm very glad that's the direction the post-Nemesis novels have taken.

ssmukhi : In the alternate reality that Q presented to Picard in "All Good Things", Jean Luc and Beverly were not only married, they were divorced!
However yes, I do like the idea. They should have gotten together. To hell with protocol!

I agree completely! Their relationship was made even stranger by the frequent implications that Wesley was really Picard's son ... especially after all that hype over how awesome "Jack Crusher" was supposed to be, I found that in very poor taste.

When did they ever suggest that Picard was Wesley's dad?
