With all of these spam attacks, I'd also like to make a suggestions:

1) No new member may make new threads until 100 posts.  (Just need to make sure they don't spam some active thread with 100 posts.)

2) No member may make more than 10 new threads in an hour.

3) Captcha only applies to new members with less than 500 posts and 1 month as member.

4) Admin will review & approve moniker of each new member before user can create new threads.  (spammer is currently pretty obvious.)

the bets way to get back at the spammers is to trace them at the sorse and ban them from this site.

This idea isn't new, but it is extremely easy to implement: Admins, look at the site each night. That's all I'm asking you to do. Look at it.

I have an idea: Admins. Hire them. Find them. Put them to work. Please.

Regarding Fandom Levels:

I'd like if on the profile pages there was something between "I catch an episode now and then" and "I never miss an episode." Some people, such as I, have seen most if not all of a particular series, but not of every ST series.

I know it's a small thing, but I just think there should be something between casual interest and completionist.

I am jfelipe and the idea is from Andromeda. The consept is of a potential race with the ultimate goal to be at least a unify creature as that of the United Nations.

newbie here , however i would love to have chat interface or an IM system in here,

it would be awesome to have "chat nights" and get everyone to know eachother better, also a great idea would be to allow people to add friends/buddys, and have a friends list on your profile, ..one more thing that would be great is personal photo gallerys to post pictures of yourself/pets/children/etc..other than those things ,i cant think of anything else..GREAT SITE!!!!

I agree Sherry.  Having some sort of chat ability might make for interesting conversation. (Not to say what goes down on the boards already isn't interesting....)
