Star Trek

I would like see the TOS Remastered episodes on the site for viewing. Your main page says see Star Trek(TOS) in HD, which would seem to imply that you have remastered version available for watching along side Star Trek Animated & Enterprise.

I see quite a few people here have mentioned wanting to see more episodes on the site. But remember there are also the copyright issues. They would also take loong to download.

It would be neat if there where a way to go and look at all the posts you've made on the forums and polls. And what would be even cooler, I think, if there isn't one, a chat module- nothing fancy, a single old school one would be fine-just to see who's online and if anyone's feeling particularly interactive.  I always look at who's on the boards and dream about who they might be in real time so to say. Also I'm most likely just a gimp but I can't find like an events calendar, or something like that. That would be super, to be able to look at a list of what's going on when and where. Thank you for the opportunity!

Perhaps Admin could look into an Ignore function for the message board.  In the Message Board Guidelines there is part that mentions that after reporting someone/post that we are to ignore that 'user'/post.  How better to ognore them than if we could put that 'user' on ignore?

And I wonder if there could be a way for Admin to be able to see, as Administrators of this site/board, whom or which 'user' is being ignored and how many other members are ignoring that one.  Just thinking outloud there.

We know that there has been a number of requests for a PM function on the boards.  As Trekwolf164 just mentioned, we have been tackling a number of other glitches amd a bunch of member requests such as linking to last post from the day/time line and getting notifications when people post on your profile.  More importantly, we wanted to see how members interact with each other and within the board community. 

After much discussion, we will not be adding a PM function at this time.  We like how members are using the boards and how 'open' the conversations are.  As many of you know, we have worked hard to keep the boards clean and inviting to fans of all ages.  We can best do this through open boards.

We're not saying 'never', just not in the near future.  We're always listening to your suggestions and reminders (thanks Matthias on reminding us to pull down the video maintainence thread) and we have some other improvements coming based on your suggestions (e.g. auto-lock old threads). 

Please keep posting any tech issues on the Tech thread and keep giving us any suggestions on the New Ideas thread.  We're looking at those threads every day. ~Unquote

So I really don't think we can expect a PM function anytime in the future, near or far.

Sorry if this has been asked/suggested before but there are quite a few pages to wade through!

I find it a bit difficult to navigate the site and keep tabs on the most recent posts. Could we have a right-hand side column showing the newest comments beside 'Popular Topics'? Or, is there an already exisintg way to do that which I'm missing?

Star Trek.com apps for Android and i-phone would be great. 

If there not going to do a pm system they should aleast do a history track option... On this site I go too, its called cat tracks...whos left you a cat track.. where you can view who has visited your page?  What do you think?
