I do like the new layout for the galleries. Much more functional. However, I still think we need to be able to link to a particular photo's page from our profile page so we can check comments.

How about getting us more Diamond Select Figures. Perhaps you could get some rare ones like Ezri rereleased or get them to release some already made but unreleased ones like Sisko with captain's chair, Dukat, Janeway, or Seven then have them released exclusively in the st.com store. It would be a profitable bonanza.

I would like to see a list how many posts, pics, and comments are required to achieve each rank.

The only problem with the galleries is that there is no longer a top photo. They have something called a top photo, but it doesn't have nearly as many likes as other photos.

How about a search bar specifically for the boards, rather than a bar to search the whole site.

The overall search bar would stay, however.

While their at it, they could make a sticky poll in movies for What is Your Favorite TNG Movie and TOS movie.

Yep - I think we've asked for that before. Or at least allow us to add a parameter to the search phrase specifying the board or the database, etc.

You know, what I believe would be perfect, is a new Star Trek series. Not like New Generation and Enterprise, but like the old episodes. Not adding (no offense) pointless silly aliens and BEYOND overdramatic special effects. The original series was no doubt the best, I think what would totally bring the audience back. The newest movie was amazing, because it was not totally pieced together with nonsense. Imagine, the cast from the new Star Trek movie on the old bridge of the enterprise.

As a relative newbie, i like the board's clear design and organisation, but am surprised at the lack of things which seem commonplace on other boards:

1. a PM system - I can't understand why there isn't one

2. a flag or country name, which appears under the username and avatar, to indicate where in the world people are from - i always find it interesting and it gives useful context to people's perspectives. This could be optional if it bothers anyone

3. in addition, and again just an option - to allow people to give just a bit more specific info in their profiles, eg, gender, age etc - again i find on other boards this helps with getting a sense of where people are coming from - i know they could put it in their opening statement but even i haven't bothered to do that and I and everybody else are more likely to if it's just a matter of putting the info into a box

4. i love the Andorian emoticons, but it's a little tricky to work out what they're all supposed to signify - other boards have the facility for a text box to come up when the mouse is held over the emoticon, indicting the emotion it represents

5. To allow for a signature to be automatically attached each time without always having to check the box

6. and yes, sort out the 'Page Error' problem, which is mightily frustrating at times...
