Am I doing something wrong because I can't log in.  I had to create a new account just to post here but it's taken quite a while just to get to this point.  I hope this is just a glitch but I'm just really confused with the whole thing right now.  Oh, and I used to be a full time member here back in the day.

I cannot upload an avatar no matter what browser I use. The avatar is extremely small, just over 6KB and is a small resolution too.

Tested with Firefox, IE and Chrome, all latest versions.

I'm not WorfSOM, but being a beta means this is a prototype version of the forum which we're testing before they release the final working version.

I am no mere Ensign! The mockery of it :P   And I have 1,000 more posts than is being presently advertised in my post-count.

Also, the organisation is messed up to the nth degree with sprinkles on top. Can we just have a nice list of threads, with the most recently posted/updated at the top, going down?

Danke.

I am, foremost, an Englishman. And then a writer. And then a historian! And THEN a Star Trek fan. I heartily advise you to fear my scathing wit.

Oh, I get it, the thread order isn't random. A thread gets bumped to the top of the page whenever a user views it, so the threads are in the order of most recently viewed rather than most recently posted in. Should it be that way?

There has to bed an edit feature!! Either a time limit edit feature or a full time edit feature, but there needs to be an edit feature/function here!

Also would be nice to have a search feature/function. How can we search for posts/topics and other members without one? It'd also be handy while the topics are all SNAFUed and FUBARed. It'd be handy even if the boards ever do get straightened out.

Please, please, please try to listen to our suggestions and fix this 'new' sites MBs. And while I'm on it, maybe you could restore the Original sight at least until the bugs/glitches here are fixed? It doesn't need to be a permanent restoration, but just one until this one is fixed and running more consistently. Maybe even having a 'Bug/Glitch topic' over there for those who might not be able to report them here. Please? Pretty please? I'll get on my knees and beg if need be.

Peace

Not sure if this has been mentioned or not. When quoting someone, your sig disappears.

Your sig only shows up when you use the full editor or post reply. It doesn't show up when you do quick post, which is what you end up doing with their new quote feature/function

But when I try to view it in 'last post' order that doesn't work either (which should be the default IMO)
I know, none of the other settings work and I'm not sure why the option is even there. Last thread viewed is the default here.

Actually I tell a lie. It is working, sort of. Go to 10-F and click to the last page, all the un-clicked on threads from pages 81-512 are displayed by last post as they should be. The board is counting a view as a post and bumping the threads as you take a butchers.

Yeah, I started to notice that the threads I viewed were showing up in order, even if I didn't comment.

Also, I haven't been logged out in awhile, my A99 account is working now, and the "breadcrub trail" at the top is back. Things are getting back to normal, slowly but surely!
