I sent an email to you about my log in problems.  You may think that they are resolved because I'm posting.  Just wanted to let you know that I am still getting the link to log in, my user name isn't being diplayed and likely I will only be able to post once or twice before I'm kicked out again.

don't know if anyone mentioned this, but once you attempt logging in the rotating banner stops rotating and you are stuck with the same one.

Aside from the log-in issues, after posting, the page doesn't show your post. Perhaps because it's logged you out already?

There's no way to click on the most recent post in a thread from the main board page. Click the thread, then scroll down, then hit the >| button, then scroll down again. A bit more slogging to do to get to discussions.

Threads are displayed very randomly. Right now even after setting the board to display threads by last post and desending order (which should put the thread with the most recent post at top) it displays a thread not posted in since August 2009 up top. So you have to search through several pages to find even the 5 most recent posts.

Seems you can't edit your posts either- the quote button is messed up too, as it worked for the post above it, not the one below as the line suggests.

I am tired of being directed to the first post of threads I have read before. Do we need to activate/deactivate something for the cookies to work?

My original Rajiin account was created over 6 years ago and the email addy I used back then is no longer functional. Therefore, when I reset my password, it was sent to the non working email addy. Can someone please correct that issue for me? The original email addy was tamikinz@cox.net. My new email addy for this place is sedona.wild.flower@gmail.com.

I'd really like access to my original account.

Thank you.

Some of the issues I've experienced so far:

1)I have trouble logging in and staying logged in. I posted a little yesterday and haven't been able to get back on since. Its also difficult to know when you are logged in. There is no indicator (e.g. "Logged in as:..." and our user name doesn't always appear on the browsing list). Edit: A "control panel" just appeared for me when I clicked on the main page again. It does not always appear. I also had trouble getting the board to finally log me out.

2) I don't know if people are changing the fonts themselves, but the font is real small in some replies and not in others (not just within the quote box). There are different font colors within the replies as well (grey and black). Which is supposed to be the default color for the reply?

3) Some of the usernames are a bit scrunched up under the avatars.

4) I can’t get the “Post Reply” or the “Quote” button to work. I was finally able to get a Quick Reply box to appear after logging out, clicking the “Post Reply” button and then logging in.

5) Will you consider unpinning all or most of those threads in Ten Forward? The pinned threads are taking up most of the first page of threads.

6) I see this everywhere on all the threads even when I am logged in…

“Forum Permissions
You cannot post new topics in this forum
You cannot reply to topics in this forum
You cannot delete posts in this forum”

I’m not sure if that is benign or an actual indicator for my personal permissions (when they are working properly).

Thanks.

I found another one. Emoticons automatically go to the beginning of the post regardless of where they were originally placed. Also, if you have anything typed in the quick reply box and decide that you want to use the full editor instead, it doesn't save your text.

enough about the post counts lol  that should be the last thing fixed.

has anyone mentioned totally random order of the threads no matter what you choose from the thread order dropdown menu?

Looks like things are being tended to. I still am looking for the "Edit" button. And hope threads will eventually be organized to default by most recent post at the top.

Me too. It is getting quite cumbersome. Even just to have a "stay logged on" option might help, as with startrekmovie.com. Looks like there is an option to change avatars which is good. ^_^ Also I agree we need an edit button. Helps to save on embarrassing errors and double posting.

My previous reply on this thread particularly does not seem to have come through at all.

It's difficult to find recent posts on DS9 board, as the order of them is rather haphazard and some threads seem to be lost.

Also, what happened to thread subtitles and poll results?

Paragraphing doesn't seem to be working very well either, which is going to make long posts very difficult to read.
