I'm old enough to remember thinking it was all cool to have space food sticks and Tang. Ironically, and unfortunately, the food and drink of the astronauts--when consumed together--was a highly effective regurgitant.

Dried ice cream is really good! surprisingly "fresh-tasting".

They're like the paste in off-brand protein bars, shaped like long Tootsie rolls only softer and less sticky. They came in regular and chocolate. They came individually wrapped in paper with foil on the inside.

Not really that great, actually...
