I hate to jump on the "It's the ball" category, but that ball did move kind of funny. I have also been noticing a lot of the long passes move kind of whacky. Almost as if its spin changes mid air.. Best way i can describe it.

I'm American btw. We got lucky.

I feel like "American Football" is just like our British Rugby, but with a lot more padding and helmets. Rugby is a bit more violent, but far more entertaining!   I have a friend who's on the Wales rugby squad, who I grew up with. In my opinion, Rugby is better than "American Football", more entertaining and the people who play it don't wear a lot of padding.

That's why I still call "Soccer" Football!  

Does anyone knoe the football scores yesterday? I missed them.

I watch as many games as I can- NZ got a well deserved equalizer in the dying seconds against Slovakia

They must have heard me. Slovakia thought they had it in the bag. They couldn't believe it!

Nice tactic with the Kiwi's buttering up the Ref just before kick off.

I watched maybe 20 minutes of the World Cup and I still hear those stupid vuvuzela:



It has to be the most mindless, distracting thing I've ever heard at a sporting event. Even after a team scores some people don't take a breath or clap. They just keep droning on through those decibel busting, tuneless horns as if they don't even know a games going on.

I agree. They shouldn't be allowed any noisy instruments. Who want's to go to a game only to hear artificial noise from other people?
