well this blew my mind when I got sent the link, so i thought that i would share;

a guy whose wife left him in 1999 spent an aweful lot of time turning his apartment into a star trek stage set replica.

I am a fan, but this goes above and beyond. I wonder if it has a bathroom...lol (or maybe the shower was dressed up to look like the transporter?)

Shower/Transporter would be awesome lol

I can guarantee you though he could get some chick who is a serious freakin super nerd to sleep with him if he offered to make her his First Officer LOL.

I think a place like that would be heaven for some, but it does look pretty good,

It would be a lot of fun for about an hour and half 3 if you have booze. After that point yeah it's a really just an interesting place to sit and cry about your loneliness...

The fact that he didn't install a bed would be a bit of an issue. As neat as the place looks it doesn't look comfortable. The bed/sleeping shelf on a klingon ship would be very welcome after just one night.

If that's the case maybe this guy is looking for a new Girl Friend! His wife did leave him.

The article say Voyager and the clip identifies it as the Enterprise. :laugh:

Yeah I noticed that too, I think it was originally the Enterprise, but he talks about a "refit" so I'm thinking that he changed it to Voyager.

There are 2 different ships depicted on the "Okuda-grams" too.

One is definitely Voyager, the other one is neither the Voyager or Enterprise.

If it's 1min 10 seconds on the video that looks like the Farragut (nebula class)

You do realize that you just inspired at least half a dozen guys to remodel their apartments?

I'd like a replica of Voyager's warp core in my living room.
