Short answer: no, but he may some time in the future return to DS9 at his own discretion. Long answer: just don't ask.

It wouldn't work: if Sisko came back he would be interesting for like 2 or 3 episodes. Then: boring!!! Besides how could he return to Starfleet? He left it to be Prophet. So he couldn't run DS9 or command the Defiant. I'd say bring the other characters back, add some new ones, but leave Sisko. Let that character rest in the Celestial Temple...

Well, that's certainly one opinion.

...that I won't agree with in the slightest.

The Profits of Bajor made Capt. Sisko one of them. He also told his lady friend he became a Bajorin Profit.

in the DS9 books, Sisko returned from the Celestial Temple and he settled down with Kassidy on Bajor. He is tsill considered on leave. He occasionally helps out on the station but not in a command capacity. He counsels Capt Kira here and there and even helped them with a crossover to the mirror universe.  Read the books DS9: Fearful Symmetry and Soul Key. The return of Illiana Ghemor is finally revealed as well

Too bad, though. I don't follow the series as I did long ago, but, I was aware of ''Unity''. For me, DS9 doesn't seem a book series, without Ben at the front of things, but....

The writers intended for sisko to become a prophet and leave indefinitely. However, as other episodes show, avery brooks was very active in black social issues. He had them change the last episode to state he would return to not perpetuate the myth that black men abandon their families. I think I read that on memory alpha.
Besides, I don't think jake can survive without his father, probably would have become obsessed trying to rescue him from the celestial temple (the visitor).

Hey, I've always believed the best captain ever would return. Unfortunately I'm less than versed in Star trek litereature, only read a couple of books, I will have to get Unity!

Is the book, "Unity" canon?

No books are canon. Star Trek is bad about maintaining unity between books, series and movies. The rule is, if it hasn't been on screen it's not canon. But even then, the animated series isn't considered canon.
However, the relaunch books (including unity) maintain better continuity with the overall series are have better creative controls in place so you can generally accept them as 'soft canon'. Especially sense there will probably be no more prime universe series.

Cassidy getting lonely + Jake getting older + Sisko not in the picture anymore... hmm...maybe someday Sisko will return to find Jake, son of the Emissary, as a famous writer on Bajor living in that house he planned on building married to Cassidy with a couple of children...
