Best idea I have heard in a while. Announce to the world that we are annexing North Korea as a weapons testing range. Everyone feel free to fire your ICBMs there. |

Don't fret. Japan and China will take care of North Korea if we can't. But, don't fret again, because our response to an attack on South Korea would be Navy and Air Force oriented, NOT Army and Marines. North Korea can not go unpunished for sinking a South Korean vessel. It is an act of war. |

Quite true-AND: Im still waiting for Obama to come out and say how we cant afford (money) to continue(Iraq & Afghanistan) and engage in another war.Im not buying the rights rhetoric that the money being spent is nothing-its coming out our pockets folks-billions almost EVERY MONTH-STOP THE BLEEDING But if its anybody thats BEGGING to have their a*ss kicked-its N.Korea |

In reality though, what is China going to do? They're buddies with north Korea and always will be seeing how they're neighbours and share a common Asian communist countries. Not to mention the fact they've been pretty hesitant to do anything about NK's nuclear weapons and ambitions. Japan, as they said, will stand by whatever the US does. So, the reaction to all of this does fall to the US and SK, I think. What the administration plans to do will be interesting nonetheless, although I can see SK coming close to, if not, declaring war against the North... |

Is everybody off their rockers? A war CAN'T happen. North Korea has 30000 artilary guns pointed at Seoul! If they fired in less than an hour they would have raised a good chunk of Seoul to the ground. That's why the South Koreans can't do a thing, military wise, without losing their capital city. Besides a war would panic the markets.

And lets be honest, its not just the artillery, its not just the missiles. It is the fact that megalomaniac sociopathic midget in charge of the artillery and missiles is insane enough to deploy special weapons on them and ACTUALLY use them. China really needs to put that demented SOB over their knee and give him one hell of an attitude adjustment before he gets the world into WWIII. But truth be told, if we wanted to sacrifice South Korea, we could take them out in a few hours with a concentrated cruise missile and aerial assault from the USAF and USN. Cause honestly, the North Koreans don't have JACK that can even hope to target a B2 or a B1B. If you deploy a fleet of those into North Korea's sky. Kim Jong Il's office is going to smell of partially digested kim chee when he $hitz himself. Its not the wars themselves that cost so much...its keeping troops there. If we just blew the shit out of people and left them to their own devices things wouldn't be nearly so expensive. |

You guys are all very heroic. Easy to talk tough from your bedroom or study from behind a keyboard and from half a world away from those nasty commie NKs about nuking a city or a country to get at one man.
If just about every post so far in this thread hasn't breached the rules and TOU for this board I'll be very surprized.
