| Quote | | Gary Pierce, a commissioner on the five-member Arizona Corporation Commission, wrote the letter in response to the Los Angeles City Council's decision last week to boycott the Grand Canyon State -- in protest of its immigration law -- by suspending official travel there and ending future contracts with state businesses. |
Here is the actual PDF of what was sent to the Mayor of Los Angeles from the commissioner of Arizona, Gary Pierce: http://www.foxnews.com/projects/pdf/051810_arizonapdf.pdfI am loving Arizona more and more each day!

If I didn't work in Hollywood, I'd boycott L.A.
And for the record, I think that any state, county, or city government that suggests boycotting another state, county, or city because they disagree with a law passed by the second state, county, or city is stupid, regardless of what the law is.

haha @ L.A.
Anyway, I think most of those #### mexicans will take it as far as a race war to get what they want. Has anyone read some of their protesting signs lately?

Los Angeles DWP partly owns both electricity producing plants in Arizona. Seriously doubt that will happen.

I doubt that L.A.'s boycott will go that far.

Especially when you consider that the boycott affects people who opposed the law as well as those who support it. And people who can't even vote... like illegal immigrants.

Yes.
It's Americans hurting Americans... and that's wrong any way you slice it. |
Fo sho! It's "United States", not, "Squabbling Siblings States."

You'd think common sense and intelligence would prevail, yet, there are entities out there that specialize in the feeding of BULLSHIT to the public.
The main thing I can think of is the utterly clueless idiots that think the law allows profiling.... while the law actually makes it clear that profiling won't be tolerated.
It's obvious these sheeple are buying into BS media crap and not actually looking at the truths for themselves. |
Much of that same media steering is what resulted in the recent electoral result in the UK. It dismays me also that individuals are so led in this way. On the subject at hand: It would be much more impressive if Arizona ignored the threat from L.A. and carried on regardless. Take the higher ground.

I'm hoping they do.... It's ALWAYS tough being the "odd man out".. but, god ####it how does shit change without the first bastard creating a wave against the system?
Sadly.. it's the idiots that balk at the current reform that will most likely benefit from it the most. |
It's tough, but, you feel clean for doing so.
