I only have to walk 50 metres down the road to the local watering hole (club). So the other night, some dude tries to hit on me. I told him that I am "married" and to hit on "single birds over at that table over there".  :D  Being direct is usually the way to go.

What do you taken females do in situations like that?

:D

I would do exactly what you did if someone tried to hit on me, Ture.

Imagine us together there Dew?

How are you sweetheart, nice to see you here.  :D

I usually get some young guy speaking in transit or in between my conversations with someone else.

Then they ask you questions.

LOL.

"Sorry. I'm married." Show 'em my ring and walk away with a smile.

If I wanted to go to one, I could go. Why wouldn't I be allowed?

Granted, I'd most likely go with my husband, but if he's away on business or something and I go...I'd be alone, obviously. :p

I always say I'm married right away and it's "girl's night out." Some guys will still stay around and be part of the conversation and the party anyway, even though they've been told it's not going anywhere. My girlfriends and I have actually met a few pretty good people that way. :D

What I find very charming about men is that they are overprotective, even if they don't know you that well. My girlfriends and I go to a certain bar and we've seen the bartender shake his head "no" and give guys a certain look and then point to us. These guys then back off right away.

divorce already happened hundreds of years ago, and love itself is just a word. You have to invent a new one since it has been used too many times.

I am not sure if I should even believe in it anymore, instincts and human nature cannot be compatible with this 'love'.
