...... in my system according to my doctor, which is causing strep-like symptoms in my throat and mouth, plus swollen glands and a 102 temp.  Had my mom take me to Urgent Care yesterday because I hadn't eaten since Saturday due to my mouth hurting so bad and I was feeling very dizzy.  Told me I had Pharyngitis and since it's viral, antibiotics wouldn't help.  Then, last night I started getting ulcers inside my mouth and my glands swelled up like tennis balls.  So I went to my regular doctor a little earlier.

Seems I'm under so much stress in my personal life and at work, my body is producing way too much acid and instead of giving me a stomach ulcer, I am getting them in my mouth.

Sick, right?

I'm taking Vicodin for the pain but I still can't eat and doc says I'm dehydrated.  

Guess it's a good thing I don't have to talk here cuz I can barely open my mouth to speak, lol.

Anybody want a

Can you manage to drink some rehydration fluids. And what about a numbing throat spray to ease it. The doc could have given you some antiviral meds as its so bad.

I'll pass on the smooch though.

She told me to swish some Mylanta cuz that will cut down on the acid and yes, I talked her into some antibiotics on the off chance it's also a sinus infection, which I get a few times a year.  

I am sipping water and Ensure but the act of sipping hurts because causes me to have to put pressure on the sores.  

My mom said I have Angelina Jolie lips, lol.  

It looks like a sucked a #### too long!

You guys are great!! Thanks for giving me a laugh today!

No, they take a rod down your throat screw the top, and the bottom expands.

And while you are all drugged out, you get to watch it on a monitor, and apparantly say lots of bad words.

But it helped unbelievably.

you remember when we chatted the other night that i had a theory that "stretching the esophagus" is probably how Linda Lovelace explained what she did for a living to people that didn't know of her work...
