Lynx and I were discussing the ideas of Villans in the Fury thread. I think it would have been cool if Kes became a villan for a while. Lynx suggested that Harry or Seven would have been better.

While I think Seven would have been too predictable, I think having Harry flip out and become evil would have been a good idea.

What are your thoughts?

Yeah, Harry.

"Wait. Tom gets a field promotion to Lieutenant coming out of PRISON? Then he gets demoted for doing stupid things and then gets promoted AGAIN? And Im still an ENSIGN? SCREW YOU GUYS!

Then he begins to slowly sabotage the ship from the Ops station until one day it suddenly cuts off life support to the entire ship, except for his quarters and Seven's cargo bay.

"MWahaahahaha YOURE MINE NOW"

Or maybe Neelix could just get disgruntled and pee in everyone's soup.

I think that Tuvok would be the best villian. If he flipped out, the crew would be hard press to stop him.

Seven would have been the best villain.

They should have introduced her as the "Delta Quadrant Borg Queen" in season 4. She would have been a nemesis for the Voyager crew until mid-season 6 when she should have been captured by the Voyager crew and turned into a good character.

In honor of Lynx's post, I chose Kes.

At least Kes would have had the surprise factor. Would anyone at all have been surprised that a Borg was a villain?

Nope, especially since they brought up that type of plot point in "Muse".
Not to mention the title "Delta Quaderant Borg Queen" makes no sense.

Kes would have been a great villain given the vast mental powers she possessed. ¿Chakotay would have been my second choice.

Well, I did at least come up with a positive solution for Seven which I guess is more than what some posters want for Kes.

No character destruction, instead Seven turned to a good character in season six, actually becoming what she was in the "real" series.

the question was: who would have made the best villian, not who could come up with the best solution to character distruction.

i've said kes simply b/c of the pure and innocent nature of the character before the 3rd season. plus it would give her more dimension than a life-sized cardboard cut out.  however, a close second would be harry. he could've been analogous to anakin. he starts out good, but is slowly drawn down a more sinister path.

It's kind of cute that the only poll Kes can win is Best Villan.

Did you ever see Beltran in the movie Eating Raoul? It's about restaurant owners who serve up humans in a funny dark comedy.

No. But I've heard of that movie. I didn't know Beltran was in it. Now I have to rent it!
