In the Pale Moonlight, By Inferno's Light, The Die is Cast and Improbable Causes. Sorry that's only 4 but they were the best Garak episodes.

THE best Garak episode is In The Pale Moonlight. To be honest, I can't think of a bad Garak episode. It seems like every one that he has a prominent role in is really, really good.

I don' t remembre the tiltle and it may already hbe here but it's the one where he was the sniveling little worm in the alternate universe al ways wanting to kill the Intendent. Probably season six or seven. That actor was mravelous in all his Garak incarnations.

You could probably look up Andrew Robinson's IMDB page for a better list, but sure. Also some of these aren't so much "Garak Episodes" as "Episodes with Garak in them for a bit." | Quote (galaxyquest009 @ May 04 2010, 10:22 am) | I don' t remembre the tiltle and it may already hbe here but it's the one where he was the sniveling little worm in the alternate universe al ways wanting to kill the Intendent. |
That could have been any one of the MU episodes!

I don't know if it's my favorite (there are so many good Garak episodes) but there's something special about Past Prologue, being the first one. It's fun to watch Garak steal the show and see the birth of an element that would be so successful for DS9.

Garak is awesome in "Past Prologue", and so are Lursa and B'etor. The only reason I have not to like this episode was that the rebel guy Tana Los was so uninteresting. But a lot of the other characters were really good.
I probably should have remembered "Broken Link" as well -- although this is an Odo episode with Garak in it.

Yes. This was the first time I 'recognized' life away from past influences was truly affecting change on this damaged being's character. His suffering as I watched him take the orders to interrogate, his suffering as he interrogated what he recognized as an innocent soul, his suffering as he pleaded to Odo to give him something... anything. A thing of beauty. Brilliant acting.

Yes, Broken Link. One of Garak's lines struck me particularly. It has to do with a somewhat common expression of a person (not excluding myself) who might defend themselves, even if not their actions, by saying at least their heart was in the right place, or their intentions were good. And please know this post in no way judges that thought. It is only another StarTrek example of the dramatization of life using entertainment. ODO: Well, if you ask me, Captain Sisko let you off lightly. Sabotage, assaulting a Federation officer, attempting to incite war between the Federation and the Dominion. GARAK: Yes, but my heart was in the right place. And Garak once again using the most of ironic humor in the delivery of the line brilliantly executed.
