Ah, I miss it when it was en vogue to make "Archer vs. (insert something ridiculous)" threads. I like the man, but I did get a kick out of some of the stuff that would pop up from the ENT haters.

I guess the gist is anti-Archer. I know a lot of the Archer-haters pin it on...what? wussiness? Picard was a bigger wuss. I dunno. Possibly naivete.

Ok, since I love Archer, I may not be very good at this thread....hummmmm.....NOT a wuss. A man who is strong enough to be considered 'weak' in order to protect his family (crew, Earth, mission) is actually a stronger man than one who blusters and pushes his way into all situations (do I hear Kirk anywhere? )

I always got the impression the difference between Archer and the other Captains was intentional, and I made a point of looking for why.

an independent girl just wants to kick Kirk out of the way.....Sisko takes some warming up to, but somewhat reachable. Picard is too controlled, so I choose Archer. Open hearted, protective, passionate, and wiling to fight for you...plus respects you as an intelligent equal. That's my kind of man!
