Driving home from town this evening about 1/2 an hour before sunset I noticed the western sky was a particularly striking orange colour so I guess the ash in the upper atmosphere from that big eruption in Iceland has made it past the equator now.
Too bad I didn't have my camera handy, the sun had set by the time I arrived home and my western horizon is obstructed by a big hill.

Anyone taken the time to watch their local sunsets or sunrizes and photographed them, must be getting some stunning sunsets in Europe where the dust concentration in the upper atmosphere is still high (only allowed the passenger jets to return the sky in Europe yesterday).

Please share your sunset/sunrize images if they have been stunning or are still dust effected.
