Unless we're talking about Lore's group of Borg from "Descent", Borg do not have any form of projectile weaponry. They would be turned into swiss cheese before they could even get within arms reach of a Centurion.

Besides, they won't even have a shield after the Cylons broadcast a computer virus.

And how exactly would they introduce the malware that made anything connected to the military network vulnerable? The Cylons were able to do that only after studying the colonial military network in detail (thanks to Baltar). Since the Borg are neither part of the colonial military network, nor inclined to allow Cylons access to their own defensive networks, then there's no reason to believe that the Cylon virus would have any more effect on the Borg than background subspace static.

The Cylons also managed to hack Gaeta's custom made firewalls (five of them) as well as civilian ships in the series. The more complex the computer system, the easier it is for the Cylons to hack. Doral explains this concept to a tour group stating they "could infiltrate and disrupt even the most basic computer system" and that the Colonials "literally looked backward for protection."

We hear the voice of the pilot, and he never mentions anything about a virus.

The ship was completely intact. If the toasters didn't gain control of the OC by force, they had to have used a computer virus.

And that probably wasn't the real pilot. We know from "The Farm" that the Cylons were still stealing bodies, just like they did in the first colonial war, and there was never any conclusive proof that there was anyone in that ship. Apollo and Starbuck even review the footage (twice) and all they ever see is a shadow bouncing off one seat. There's no reason to believe that the Cylons would throw away 1,800 perfectly good human bodies to experiment on so they probably put a toaster in the ####pit since he could ressurrect.

What about Colonial One? Didn't the Cylons also red-eye that ship in the miniseries? I seem to remember only Apollo's ship going dead, and he had to radio them for help.

They never did that...they fired a missile at Colonial One (Colonial Heavy 798 at the time), which Apollo shot down. The blast from the missile is what disabled Lee's Viper.

I love how people think that the Cylons ONLY used the CNP program and nothing else. What do people think they were they using during the first Cylon War?

From Battlestar Wiki:

Quote
In the second Cylon War, the Cylons use a slightly different means of electronic infiltration, after their espionage determined that Colonial use of computer technology has become widespread once again, 40 years after the first war. However, instead of using viruses, backdoors are planted in the Command Navigation Program, the operating system used by the Colonial military, by a human-looking agent.

These exploits make it possible to remotely shut down all computers on Colonial warships and fighters, without a possibly lengthy period of time to bypass a computer's defenses.

Backdoor =/= virus
