What is the best space battle from any ST film?

The refit Enterprise vs the Reliant in the wrath of Khan. That was a battle between two ships that took strategy to win the battle instead of sheer weaponry.

Enterprise vs. Scimitar (Star Trek: Nemesis) was a good fight, but Picard needed Troi to find the Scimitar and hit it to do any real tactical damage.

I simply cannot fathom how people would vote for the ridiculousness that was the Nemesis engagement. The Enterprise-E swooping around like the Millennium Falcon? Then smashing into the Scimitar? And that's it?

Sheesh.

Anyway, the right answer is clearly the starship battle from Wrath of Khan.

That said, however, the Borg engagment from First Contact was fantastic.

(The Kelvin's encounter with the Narada was much less a battle than a slaughter. Nevertheless, that scene was was highly suspenseful and well-directed. Kudos to both Abrams and the special effects gurus.)
