well, my guess would be that many of the genetic defects that cause dwarfism have been cured by the 24th century. i mean if they can resequence a baby's genetic sequence in-utero to rid it of a it's klingon forehead, i'm sure a fetus's genetic sequence can be altered so that it won't become a little person.

however, wasn't there a TNG episode that had little people in it?

Then how do you know there aren't any Little People in ST? :eyesroll:

BTW, there were Little People in Q's court room in "Encounter At Farpoint" & "All Good Things..". ¿There is a Little Person in one of the lead roles in TOS's "Plato's Step Children". ¿As someone else pointed out and you didn't get, the actor that plays Nog on DS9 falls into the Little People catagory. ¿ Scotty's sidekick in J.J. Abrams Trek film is played by Little Person, the same East Indian man from Tim Burton's "Willy Wonka". ¿Voy's "Virtuoso" was a planet full of Little People. DS9's "If Wishes Were Horses", Rumplestilskin was a acted by a LiTTle Person.

How did you miss all these?

i didn't count the people in "virtuoso" b/c in order to be classified as a little person you need to be 4'10" and under. at that height i know it's tough to gauge as opposed to some with achondroplasia dwarfism.  but, you're right on all the other accounts. i knew there were little people in TNG!

Actually, Aron Eisenberg is a *short* man, but he's not a "little person" in the contemporary meaning of a man under 4'10".

His growth was stunted by kidney disease, like Gary Coleman.

He's 5 ft tall.
