I like The Undiscovered Country the most.

It really is a great movie, I don't understand why some don't like it.

I don't DISLIKE it by any stretch of the imagination, but there are a mountain of issues in the movie that I think most fans are quick to overlook.

For me, the production seemed very rushed and everything had a B-budget feel to it. The story was filled with holes and nonsense. The midsection of the film is slow and, in my opinion, fairly uninteresting. Those are my biggest gripes.

It's a good movie, no doubt...I just think it's not NEARLY as fantastic as many other fans do. It's my second-to-last favorite on the list of original cast films. I actually like "The Final Frontier" better than "Undiscovered Country."

But hey, to each their own.

Well, I can respect that. It make some sense and I like V too so that makes it make sense more!

Oh and Peanut butter rocks!

Anyway, I voted for The Motion Picture.

We finally agree on something!

It feels kind of...strange.

It was a tough choice, but I eventually voted for First Contact. If I had to order them it would be nearly impossible to come up with an accurate list. Other than First Contact, the movies with the most contemplative material are the ones I can see as potential favorites. The Motion Picture and Insurrection are the highest on the list, followed closely by Generations, The Wrath of Khan, The Search For Spock, The Voyage Home, all in second place. Third place is a tie among The Final Frontier, The Undiscovered Country, and Nemesis. The 2009 Star Trek settles at the bottom.

Even if I tried to break my cluster up, there would still be no way for me to separate The Wrath of Khan and The Search for Spock. Those two are definitely on the same level in my mind.

Let's see if I can work it out on the spot. ¿Going from...

FC/I/TMP
G/TWOK/WSFS/TVH
TFF/TUC/N
ST

to...

First Contact
Insurrection
TMP
Generations
TVH
TWOK/TSFS
TSFS/TWOK
Nemesis
TUC
TFF
Star Trek

Something like that. And actually...I kinda wanna put TMP over Insurrection...or maybe even both of those over First Contact. No, that's crazy. I think. Err...see? Tough decision.

The Voyage Home remains my #1. That will never change.

Even a movie about Barangaria, if they ever make one, will probably be second to TVH.
