Yes, I cried very much when Trip died. And it didn't help that the day I watched it, I was having a bad enough day already... Then they killed off my favorite character! So, yes, I was very emotional during the last episode...

i thought it was sad when T'pol and Trips baby died, but now TNG had a few that made me teary eyed. 1. when Tasha died ( Skin of Evil) 2. when Deanna's child died ( The Child )and 3. Deanna's sister died ( Dark Page )

I admit to getting misty eyed every time I see the intro to the show. A history of exploration that largely can be witnessed at Air & Space is really cool. When you see Lindbergh, Earhart, Shepard, Apollo 8 and the Shuttle Enterprise, you can say: Seen it! I bristled at the notion of words to the TV theme, but I see the logic of the choice and the montage that plays with it. It has been "a long road getting from there to here".
