Hey, for a laugh I watched this on Fox News yesterday. Sure was fair and balanced commentary. :sarcastic.

Well, the story was - ?"The Republicans got to tell their story"...

...and the Democrats were probably told to shut up, they didn't want any more damage done. ;)

I really wasn't that interested in the debate, I was looking at the presentation. To give the illusion of balanced commentary it went something like this:

FNC host: Regarding , the Republicans felt that because of this and this and this... oh... and... of course (finishing the sentence quickly) the Democrats obviously feel the opposite.

...and ?????

:eyesroll:

The clear presentation of the Republican point of view lasted a good deal longer than the throw away presentation, in the "oh by the way" style, of the Democrat stance. One opinion detailed, the other vaguely referred to as "obviously differing". How so? Care to illuminate Mr. Host?

Just sayin'.

You guys just can't figure it out.

Easy, big boy.. There actually are a few of us with a few brain cells who are tired of being taxed out of sanity and watching both parties spend us into the poor house.

Remember the Beck vid you had me watch?
Quote
The Democrats are tax and spend. The Republicans just spend.

So close to my comment of the Democrats want the middle class to make $30.00 an hour so they can take 15 and the Republicans only want us to make 15 in the first place.

They've all lost touch with reality.

Oh, the number of pages in the current health bill? I've heard 1400, 2400, then 2700 yesterday during the summit. Not only have most of them not read it, if any, they don't even know how large it is... Could it be because of the spacing and type when it's printed? Whatever, it's still a labyrinth of b.s. and pork.

Did you know there are 8 health care lobbiests for every member of congress? CNN had a big spiel about all of the contributions from health care and insurance institutions to congressional entities and how much they spent on commercials. They don't represent us, hardly any of them!!!

I agree with you. Both parties have shown themselves to be out of touch.

Bush spent like Paris Hilton a bender. The Obama spends like Bush on a bender.

Hey, for a laugh I watched this on Fox News yesterday. Sure was fair and balanced commentary. :sarcastic.

LOL

First mistake was watching FOX and expecting anything other than "discriminatory and lopsidded."

Fox news has three times the viewership CNN and MSNBC does. Fox news allways has both a Republican and Democrat on for both views.

CNN and MSNBC are one sided - Liberal. Matthews, Oberman and Maddow are so far left its funny. Those shows only get around 500,000 viewers in the ratings. CNN even beats them.

You might say that about O'Rielly and Hannity but they sometimes agree with Obama when he is right. Hannity even liked the how Clinton got the deficit under control during his second term. We still however had unfunded liabilities that weren't paid off.

Glenn Beck, Hannity and O'rielly are not "news" shows.

They do not have to be "anything". Fox News IS fair ad balanced. No doubt about it.

And remember, All Clinton had to do was sign, all meaningful reforms and budget "balancing" was done by Newt and a Republican Confgress.

I watched CNN a little yesterday and was surprised, it's a little more "balanced" than it used to be.

Totally disagree on the fair and balanced aspect of FOX.

Something completely non issue and non relevant will happen involving Obama.. for instance.. "He said flibble gibblets!! OH my!!" and FOX will be the only news place around making a big ass deal about it while the other people show actual news.. it happens all the time.

Sorry, but the president making a minor "flibble gibblet" doesn't qualify as "news" what so ever.

Here's a real life example: FOX news show coverage of a blizzard and somehow see fit to use it to rail on Al Gore and "global warming." Anybody with the least shred of common sense knows that a cold day isn't proof AGAINST "global warming" any more than a warm day is proof OF "global warming." Yet, instead of just report the blizzard and the problems it causes, FOX instead pulls out the old soap box and goes of on the "anti global warming" thing.

Throwing that type of spin into an absolutely non partisan issue is ANYTHING but "fair and balanced."

Please Global Warming has been proven a fraud. Some Scientists even used a college students thesis for some of their so called evidence. Also a new report says the temp. has only gone up just a point or so since 1995. Also how come when man wasn't here the glaciers come foward and then receeded.

The way to fix this economy is to cut taxes for everyone and stop spending. Congress is at a new all time low now at 14% approval rating.

To keep yourself out of trouble TF, it's better to state that there is no proof that humans and our SUV's and coal plants are causing global warming.

The whacko's are convinced that global warming is happening. Facts have no effect.

Yes, obviously all of those PhDs who are actually looking at the data are totally clueless.
