Man--lostshaker's expression is generally precise and rarely hypberbolic, therefore: I've gotta get my hands on this film

It's a good one, I think I still have it on a tape somewhere... A sequel is on its way, Jeff Brdges being there again.

Man, I better get hoppin and watch the first one!!

Yup, Yx, they'll wait till we buy it then finally throw it on TV at the last minute before the sequel comes out. grigori's purchasing practices seem to dictate what they air on TV or cable that way.

Yeah, but the special features on how it was developed and how they did the effects back in the day are worth owning.

The worst thing about coming back after a little time off is the pages of stuff to read!

I'll have to root out Tron and give it a view. I haven't seen it in ages. And my love for it came from a video game.

See? You do learn stuff from video games!

Now that I have you, BBC America start showing Doctor Who on April 17th, two weeks after us.

The Eleventh Hour, Matt's first proper episode as the Doctor is going to be 60 minutes long.

:D

And don't spend too much purchasing a Tron DVD! There is bound to be a re-release for the sequel at Christmas.

Is this a direct to DVD release? If so I'll be they sell a package deal... hmmm...

It's the 20 anniversary release and is a two DVD set. Has the movie and lots of special features. It's pretty cheap on amazon or ebay.

I think they should have insisted on 24-episodes for Season 4 rather than letting Bakula get it reduced to 22-episodes.

^I think they should have ran off with the Paramount/CBS charge card and created three more seasons.
