haha, Bro, you are on a roll! Hummmmmmmmm.....mine would be the carbon copy aliens, Klingons, Vulcans, etc. I mean, really, if HUMANS are diverse, would it not stand to reason that any alien species would be also? Otherwise, they would be eradicated due to lack of flexibility, as well all know that life means change, or you die. So I vote for any species that is put in a box of one type of characterizations, since they would be gone otherwise. IDIC rules!

Humans are diverse, but wouldn't you expect your own cultural perceptions to interpret an Alien culture as different yet subordinate to a certain set of characteristics?

Not so much prejudice, as preconception. For all we know there are huge differences in the races, but our preconceptions mark them as typical or even stereotypical.

I also find it rather annoying when people mention villains as annoying. Yes they sort of are, but that's kind of the point. That's why Q is a great villain, or Kai Winn.

The Prophets on the other hand, are just bad. I don't mean evil, I mean they make everything around them suck.

I think though that it's kind of weird and stereotypical to expect all members of even a fictional "species" to be "quite" the same way as each other.
