"Phantasms" was super bizarre. "Thine Own Self" is one of my most favorite TNG shows. So is "Masks."

Though Data wasn't the main point of the show, Redemption Part 2 is a great indication of Data's command ability as he single handedly exposed the Romulan ships and the aid the Duras family was receiving during the Klingon civil war.

He has some really great scenes in Deja Q, although that episode isn't specifically about him.

I had lost interest in TNG because i thought the first two seasons were horrible (except for two episodes.) One weekend, i saw "The Offspring" first run on my local station, and busted out crying it was so good. i was hooked.
